Installing the extension
Add MediaGrabber Pro to Chrome, Edge, or Firefox in about a minute.
MediaGrabber Pro runs on any modern Chromium browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc) and on Firefox. Installing takes about a minute.
From your browser's store (recommended)
Open the store listing
Open the listing for your browser:
- Chrome / Brave / Opera / Arc — Chrome Web Store
- Firefox — Firefox Add-ons
- Microsoft Edge — Edge Add-ons (coming soon — until then, Edge can install from the Chrome Web Store link above)
Add it to your browser
Click Add to Chrome (or Get / Add to Firefox), then confirm the permission prompt. The extension needs to read pages and use your downloads folder so it can find and save media — that is all it does with those permissions.
Pin the icon
Click the puzzle-piece Extensions button in your toolbar and pin MediaGrabber Pro so its icon is always one click away.
On Firefox the pin control is the gear/▾ menu next to the add-on in the toolbar overflow.
After installing
The first time you open MediaGrabber Pro you will be asked to activate your license. Head to Activate your license next.
Keeping it up to date
Browser stores update extensions automatically in the background, so you will always have the latest version without doing anything. You can force a check from your browser's Extensions page (enable Developer mode, then Update).
Optional: the download companion
Some advanced premium downloads (for example, merging separate video and audio streams, or accelerated multi-connection downloads) use a small optional companion helper on your computer. It is not required for everyday downloads. If a feature needs it, MediaGrabber Pro will tell you and link to the one-click installer. You can read more in Plans & premium.
